A photographic journey of Israel's history through the lens of Rudi Weissenstein. He dedicated his life documenting Israel's growth from 1936 until his death in 1992 and was one of the official photographers at the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1948

These photographs reflect the social, cultural and architectural development of Israel. They provide us with a glimpse of what life was like from the times of the mandate, through great change, and into the modern state of Israel.
